"When we first opened our doors our vision was to create that little corner, neighbourhood restaurant where the food is always amazing, the service is genuinely warm and inviting, the staff remembers your name, locals and travellers alike are welcomed back time and again and the guest – always – is the centre of attention. Small is good!"
The Brownstone has been a downtown Kamloops landmark since 2004. Set in the historic 1904 Canadian Bank of Commerce building, once the workplace of poet Robert Service, the ambiance is warm and elegant, never stuffy. We like to think the poet's task of evoking beauty with simple words is similar to our task of bringing clean, honest, simple ingredients to life!
